Inspirational Words

As promised here is a list of some inspirational words/quotes I enjoy. Check back periodically for updates!

Pick something, big or small, that feels totally impossible to you right now and then go do it. I promise that nothing will ever be the same again, because nothing cracks you open quite like doing something you never, ever believed you could do. Your entire perspective changes, because if all of a sudden you’re capable of doing this one “impossible” thing, what other impossible things aren’t so impossible after all?- Nicole Antoinette

It doesn’t have to be labeled “big” to be worth your time.- Paul Angone

Toughness means knowing when to push and when to pull back when to psych up and when to calm down. It’s dealing with defeat, learning how to be single-minded and fitting running into a full life. Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don’t so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head.” Joe Henderson

I still may not know what I want to be when I grow up but I do know I want to live in a home filled with books and travel souvenirs, and the walls that aren’t covered with bookshelves will be covered with photos of my family and friends. When I leave home I will be going to a job I love, and Ill return to a person I love. So that is the dream I am working on.

But struggling and suffering, as I now saw it, were the essence of a life worth living. You’re denying yourself an extraordinary trip. Dean Karnazes
